ISLAMABAD: With no apparent development on the issue pertaining to the probe into the Panama revelations, Leader of Opposition in Senate Aitzaz Ahsan on Tuesday said the federal government’s attitude was not positive.
“I do not know whether they (government ministers) are getting Nawaz Sharif and his family into hot water or saving them?” he told reporters after a meeting of the parliamentary committee on Panama Papers.
He said the government side was deliberately deteriorating the situation, adding that government members who were a part of the parliamentary committee wanted to provide shelter to the prime minister and his family at any cost.
