ISLAMABAD: Adviser on Foreign Affairs, Sartaj Aziz, has said that relations between Pakistan and Maldives were marked by understanding, warmth and mutual interests.
He expressed these views in a meeting with Special Envoy of the President of Maldives, Adam Shareef Umar, who is also Minister for Defence and National Security of the country, on Thursday at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The Special Envoy appreciated the support Pakistan has been extending to his country at regional and international level. The adviser and the special envoy expressed satisfaction over the growth in bilateral relations and agreed to further increase the momentum through high level interactions.
