JHELUM: A British national woman of Pakistan origin died at Civil Hospital Jhelum due to the alleged negligence of doctors.
Sources said that the 40 years old British national woman who had been admitted to the hospital for breathing complications and she died during treatment.
Family members of the victim alleged that the woman died as the hospital lacked oxygen kits and she was kept on the bed for two hours without putting her on oxygen. She died while doctors and paramedical staff waited for arranging the oxygen kit.
The family members of the victim also stage a protest against the doctors and staff members and demanded of the chief minister to take notice of the issue and punish the responsible.
Later, the protesting family members took the body home after the hospital administration assured them of inquiry into the death.
